  • Our children’s room contains a very large collection of books for readers and listeners of all ages. We also offer an extensive collection of audiobooks, DVDs, and more.
  • Computers are available with early literacy games; there are others for internet use by children.
  • Families can enjoy playing in our toy area or creating together at our coloring table.
  • We offer a variety of programs including story times for children birth through preschool, monthly book clubs for elementary students throughout the school year, special events for children and families, and a wide variety of summer programs for all ages.
  • Any one of our department’s four mastered librarians would be happy to answer your questions. Please come visit us!

Upcoming Events

  • Winter Story Times
    This winter we’re offering three story times: Mother Goose for children ages birth to 2 on Thursdays @ 9:30 or 10:30am, Toddler for ages 2 to 3 ½ on Wednesdays @ 9:30 or 10:30am, and Preschool for ages 3 ½ to 5 on Tuesdays @ 10am. Sessions will run from January 23 through March 15. Registration is required, and a valid Four County library card number is required to register. Story times will not be held if Union-Endicott schools are closed due to inclement weather. Click on any story time in the calendar below to register or contact the library for more information!
  • Paws for Reading – Saturdays, 2/17, 3/3, 3/17, 4/14, 4/28 & 5/12 from 10 am to noon
    Stop into the children’s room to read to one of these great therapy dogs! The mission of this program is to enhance children’s love of reading through the use of therapy dogs. It is hoped this interaction will lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning and a higher quality of life. No registration is required.
