Registration for our Fall Story Times has begun! See below for more information and for the registration links. You can also view the fall story time flyer.

Please note:
If the Union-Endicott Schools are CLOSED for inclement weather, story times will NOT be held.
After this 6-week session, we will pause our story times through Thanksgiving. We will then resume for a 3 week mini-session in December.


GFJ Readers & Jr. Readers Book Clubs

Join our book clubs for kids in grades 1-3 and 4-6!
Read a book each month throughout the school year and then come to the library for discussion, activities, a snack, and fun! Registration is required and space is limited. You may pick up your first book anytime after registering, and we’ll discuss this book at our first meeting.

GFJ Jr. Readers is for children in grades 1 to 3. Meetings are on the first Monday of each month from October 7 through May 5 and last from 5 to 6 pm. Register here for Jr. Readers.

GFJ Readers is for children in grades 4 to 6. Meetings are on the fourth Monday of each month from September 30 through April 28 and last from 5 to 6 pm. Register here for Readers.


Our adult friends with disabilities and their caregivers can join us for Fun with Friends! View the printable flyer here. No registration is required.

  • We have a very large collection of books for readers and listeners of all ages including a large collection of graphic novels. We also offer an extensive collection of Playaways, Wonderbooks, board games, video games, audiobooks, DVDs, and more.
  • Computers are available with early literacy games; there are others for internet use by children.
  • We offer a variety of programs such as story times for children birth through preschool, monthly book clubs for elementary students throughout the school year, special events for children and families, and a wide variety of summer programs for all ages. We always have independent programs or activities that you can do in the Children’s Room too!
  • Any one of our department’s four mastered librarians would be happy to answer your questions. Please come visit us!
