Hi, I am Holli, GFJ’s Social Work Intern! I am here to help you find local resources that fit your needs. I can connect you with a variety of resources across Broome County, from food pantries to clothing banks, home improvement help, and counseling programs; we can work together to get you set up with a place you like. If you are also curious about transportation to these organizations, I can help you navigate the BC Transit bus system to get you where you need to be. Additionally, I can help you fill out applications or schedule appointments with providers if that feels confusing to do alone. If any of this sounds useful, feel free to schedule an appointment with me!

From October 1st to October 30th, fill out our Halloween-themed game board for a chance to win a treat on Halloween (October 31st). All ages can participate!

Spooky Reading Trail game board for the George F. Johnson Memorial Library. A winding, colorful path of numbered spaces leads from “Start” to “Finish,” with Halloween-themed decorations including bats, spiders, a ghost, a mummy, and a pumpkin. Each space is marked with the number 15. Instructions at the top explain that players should read for 15 minutes, move closer to the finish, and record the books they read. Players can earn raffle tickets by completing the game. The deadline is October 30, with the drawing on October 31.
