The Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network will host a presentation on the NY State of Health Marketplace and Navigator program on Tuesday, February 11 at 5:00 PM at our library. This is a chance for uninsured individuals under the age of 65 to learn more about the new health insurance options available through the Marketplace. Topics covered will include: Role of the Navigator, Qualified Health Plans (10 Essential benefits), Tax Credits & Subsidies. This informational session is free and open to the public. Follow-up sessions will be held to assist people in signing-up for insurance. The follow-up sessions will be Feb 19 and 26 & March 17 and 31, from 9 AM till 4 PM. Health Insurance at GFJ: One final session on Monday, March 31 from 9 AM till 4 PM for anyone wanting to do a last-minute enrollment in health insurance before penalties kick in (or before you get sick and need it!). Just a reminder that the library will be closed on Friday, January 25th due to the replacement of our heating and air conditioning system. We plan to reopen at 9:00am on Saturday 1/26. However, please call or check the website before visiting as a delay in construction could prevent our opening on this day.
