The library has resumed normal hours and will reopen at 9 A.M. on Tuesday, Oct. 30. The Oct. 30 Friends of the Library book review has been cancelled. There will be no preschool storytime today, because the UE schools are closed.
We are delighted to announce that Amazon’s “Kindle” e-reader can now be used to read books downloaded from GFJ’s “Overdrive” service. Click on the “Download Overdrive” icon at www.gfjlibrary.org and start reading. The collection is growing at a rate of about 40 titles per month.
We’ve just added the Endicott Daily Bulletin newspaper years 1947-1951 to our Digital Archives. Our local newspaper coverage now includes years 1856-1951, along with the fantastic Endicott-Johnson Workers Review magazine and other E-J and U-E publications.
