Amazon has announced that its popular Kindle e-reader will soon be compatible with GFJ’s Overdrive downloadable e-book service. The service already works with many popular devices, including the Barnes & Noble Nook, Apple’s iPad, and many others. The Overdrive service also features free downloadable audiobooks. New York State funding for public libraries is now as less than 1994 levels. Please contact your state legislators and ask them to increase funding for our libaries!
