Author Brad Meltzer reflects on the need to defend library funding
The library is accepting applications for a part-time Library Clerk position. Some weekend and evening hours, pay is $8.45 an hour, 15-19 hours per week. The position is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent. Applications are available at the library and will be accepted through Saturday, January 28.
This year’s raffle quilt is on display: “French Romance” by quilt artists Carol Bunnell and Sandy Minehan. Tickets are a dollar apiece or six for five dollars and proceeds go to support children’s programs here at GFJ. The drawing will be held September 11. Other quilts, some for sale, will be on display soon.

The library will be closed today (Wednesday, February 5, 2014) due to the weather.
