Library Funding Referenda
Despite a miserable economy, the March 15, 2010 issue of Library Journal reports that 84% of library funding referenda passed in 2009. For New York State, the figure was 100%.
Carpet Update
The children’s room is now closed and will remain closed through at least Wednesday 4/29. At some times during the week of 4/27, there will be limited access to the front entrance to the library as well. Holiday Closing
The GFJ Library will be closing at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31st and closed on Wednesday, January 1st. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Special Board Meeting
There will be a special meeting of the library trustees on Wednesday, June 8 from 7 till 8:45 P.M. in the Scott (basement) Meeting Room. The trustees will be interviewing applicants for several vacant seats.
