September Board Meeting Rescheduled
The September 2014 meeting of GFJ’s Board of Trustees has been rescheduled. It will now be held Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7 PM at the library.

GFJ Library Receives Grant Award
The Library has just received notice from Assemblywoman Lupardo’s office that we have been awarded $6,496 under the New York State Public Library Construction grant program to install a much-needed heating/cooling unit in our staff area. Much thanks to the Assemblywoman for her continued and long-standing support of public libraries.
Please note that there will not be open hours in the Tech Center on Tuesday, September 1. All other Tech Center classes and hours for this week will run as scheduled. We’re sorry for any inconvenience!
Library Board Seat Available
Our library is looking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Trustees. The term of office runs through December 2018. Special Board Meeting
There will be a special meeting of the library trustees on Wednesday, June 8 from 7 till 8:45 P.M. in the Scott (basement) Meeting Room. The trustees will be interviewing applicants for several vacant seats.
