Thanks to all participants in the Adult Summer Reading Club!
This was the first year of our Adult Summer Reading Club. We had 40 participants and you read over 500 books!!! Congratulations to our contest winners: Tracy & Sarah! Hope you enjoyed the club, next year we will try and add some programming!!! See you next summer!
Spring Book Reviews
All free and on Tuesday evenings. Refreshments will be served at 7 P.M. and the reviews will start at 7:30. Everyone is welcome! April 3: “The Terminal diner” by Mary Pat Hyland, reviewed by the author. A story set in a diner in Binghamton looks at September 11th’s influence on people far from the scene….

January Library Board Meetings
There will be a special meeting of the GFJ Library Board of Trustees on Wednesday, January 11 at 6:30 PM to interview board candidates. The regular January 19 monthly meeting will begin at 6:30 instead of 7:00 in order to interview another candidate. The regular meeting on the 19th will follow immediately at 7 PM.

Quilt Raffle is On!
This year’s raffle quilt is on display: “French Romance” by quilt artists Carol Bunnell and Sandy Minehan. Tickets are a dollar apiece or six for five dollars and proceeds go to support children’s programs here at GFJ. The drawing will be held September 11. Other quilts, some for sale, will be on display soon.
