GFJ Needs Your Help!

GFJ needs your help!  Along with the Your Home Public Library (Johnson City) we have not received an increase in funding since 2008.  We hope to place a proposition on this November’s ballot seeking an increase designed to fund the libraries for another four years.  But first we need to collect some 2,000 petition signatures.  We are in need of volunteers to help circulate the petition.  If you can commit to getting just ten signatures (or more!) please contact us at 757-2415 or en.ed@4cls.org.  We will be holding our first Petition Carrier Orientation Session at the library on Tuesday, June 3 from 7-8 PM – you can stop by anytime that hour or stop by the library at your convenience to get a copy.  Signers and carriers must be registered to vote in the Town of Union.  For more information and an FAQ click on the “News & Information” tab above, then on “Library Funding News.”  And thanks!
