There will be a special meeting of the GFJ Library Board of Trustees on Wednesday, January 11 at 6:30 PM to interview board candidates. The regular January 19 monthly meeting will begin at 6:30 instead of 7:00 in order to interview another candidate. The regular meeting on the 19th will follow immediately at 7 PM.

The proposed 2012 federal budget calls for elimination of the Statistical Abstract of the United States, in both its print and digital forms.   This single best source of statistical data on the United States has been published since 1878, and the staff at GFJ feels it’s lost would be tragic.  We urge you to sign…

The library is seeking applicants for a seat on its Board of Trustees.  Interested parties must be residents of the Town of Union, and should complete the application and return it care of Library Director Ed Dunscombe, George F. Health Insurance at GFJ: One final session on Monday, March 31 from 9 AM till 4 PM for anyone wanting to do a last-minute enrollment in health insurance before penalties kick in (or before you get sick and need it!).
