Planned Downtime

A planned software upgrade by the Four County Library System will affect area libraries, from Sunday, June 21 through Thursday, June 25. We regret any inconvenience.

  • Sunday, June 21: The online catalog may be unavailable from 9:30 pm till 11:00 pm.
  • Monday, June 22: The online catalog may be unavailable from 10:30 pm till 11:30 pm.
  • Tuesday, June 23: from 9 am till noon: Checkouts will be limited to five (5) items. No fine payments, new patron registrations, reserves or inter-library loans will be possible, and the online catalog will be unavailable. Library computer users will have to sign in and out at the information desks. The online catalog should function but will not show the availability of items.
  • Tuesday, June 23 (noon) through Thursday, June 25: Reserves and inter-library loans will not be available.
  • Friday, June 24: Operations should return to normal.

Please also note that Saturday, June 20 is our last open Saturday until September 12.

The library will close today, Monday Oct. 29 at 3 P.M. due to a state of emergency. A decision on Tuesday Oct. 30 will be made as the situation develops. Please call 757-5350 before heading to the library. If you get only voicemail the library is closed.The Tuesday Oct. 31 book review has been cancelled.

Library Quilt Raffle

The 14th annual Library Quilt Raffle is under way.  This year’s raffle quilt, titled “Redwork Sue” is once again crafted by local artist Carol Bunnell.  The quilt is on display at the library, with tickets available at the Information Desk.  The drawing will be September 11, with proceeds benefitting the library’s children’s services.
