Library Funding Referenda
Despite a miserable economy, the March 15, 2010 issue of Library Journal reports that 84% of library funding referenda passed in 2009. For New York State, the figure was 100%.

Reminder
Just a reminder that the library will be closed on Friday, January 25th due to the replacement of our heating and air conditioning system. We plan to reopen at 9:00am on Saturday 1/26. However, please call or check the website before visiting as a delay in construction could prevent our opening on this day.

Public Computing Center Event
GFJ will host a formal opening of its Public Computing Center (PCC) on Thursday, April 28 at 1 PM. Congressman Maurice Hinchey, Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo and Mary Ann Stiefvater of the New York State Library will offer remarks, and staff will demonstrate PCC services. Holiday Closing
