Roxy Visits
Longtime GFJ employee Jim “Par” Panella passed away suddenly this week. His buddy “Roxy”, a familiar face at the library, came by for a visit today. Roxy is now living with Jim’s sister-in-law. Everyone at GFJ deeply misses them both.

The library is accepting applications for a part-time Library Clerk position. Some weekend and evening hours, pay is $8.45 an hour, 15-19 hours per week. Quilt Raffle is On!
This year’s raffle quilt is on display: “French Romance” by quilt artists Carol Bunnell and Sandy Minehan. Tickets are a dollar apiece or six for five dollars and proceeds go to support children’s programs here at GFJ. The drawing will be held September 11. Other quilts, some for sale, will be on display soon.
